Previously known as Corgifairy, Fat Positive Fairy, AKA Rachel, is an amazing role model for SSBBWs and frankly we need more women like her! She has a true “apple” appearance, and loves to show off that VBO. Her confidence and style have earned her numerous collaborations with brands such as Lane Bryant.

Fat Positive Fairy has a very distinct style, combining vintage sweaters with high-waisted mom jeans, and a mixture of vintage dresses with loud, vibrant summer dresses.
She’ll actually do posts comparing her outfit to much skinnier women in a “who wore it better” sort of style, and the way she challenges perceptions of beauty makes her one of my favorite follows!

Shout out to one of my fav tall plus size influencers, Abbey Roedel from Nebraska. She promotes body positivity in a wholly authentic manner and her outfit inspiration serves to inspire those of us with longer legs and broader shoulders, which we simply don’t see with mainstream plus size models.

Abbey shows us we can show off our arms and legs by rocking jean shorts and tank tops for casual wear. When she wants to class it up, she looks so elegant in evening dresses, and her picks are definitely worth looking at if you’re taller as the dresses flow beautifully on her.

She’s one of my favorite new influencers, having taken Insta by storm in 2022 and continually growing her follower base since.
Brittany is probably best known for her plus size outfit recommendations, which center around putting together fits from affordable retailers like Torrid and Target, providing a realistic approach to plus size outfit inspiration. She identifies as “fat” (yay, this is important!) and boasts a beautiful apple shaped body.

As her name suggests, Inez pushes the boundaries when it comes to plus size fashion, creating striking dress-up outfits incorporating pieces like tutus and berets. Her casual lookbook provides day-to-day outfit inspo, think jeans, boots, and turtlenecks for a distinctly Midwest kind of look.
As a black influencer, Inez proudly speaks out about racial injustices and is an icon for plus size women in more ways than one.
